Specialized 6-hour technical training course (divided into 3 two-hour thematic blocks) on the structural design of support elements for Shear Link Bozzo (SLB) dissipators, using ETABS modeling software and following the ACI 318-25 and AISC 360 codes. The programme covers the modeling, analysis and design of three main configurations: decoupled reinforced concrete walls (including support beams, load transfer, connection plates and anchors per ACI 318 Ch. 17), steel bracing (capacity design, stability, gusset plate connections and anchorage to the structure), and coupling beams (eccentric/concentric selection criteria, reinforced concrete or composite sections with embedded profiles, and verification of the dissipator-concrete interface). Every topic includes project reviews and real case studies. Aimed at structural engineers and designers looking to master the modeling and detailing of this seismic protection technology.
